Last week we got just a dusting of snow on our back deck, but that didn't stop Caleb from wanting to go play in it!

They Made It!
Late Christmas night PeePaw, Grandma Beth, Matt, and Drew finally made it to our house. Caleb was so excited to go to bed that night because he knew that when he woke up they would be here!
While I'm sure Uncle Matt would have liked to have slept in, he was a good sport and was happy when Caleb got him out of bed. They even played pirates before he'd even finished his cup of coffee.
Present time!
Luke was an old pro by this point!
Caleb loves his praying mantis glasses, and looks pretty cute in them.
Hugs for Grandma Beth
Caleb likes to pass out presents too.
Uncle Matt was also up for playing dominoes with Caleb.

Christmas Day
Late Christmas morning we went to Grandmom and Grandpa's house, at Caleb's request. (They had offered to bring presents to our house so we wouldn't have to leave but Caleb really wanted to go there.) Grandpa fixed yummy french toast (a tradition) and we were able to get Paige and Uncle Luke out of bed to open presents. It was a fun morning, for sure!
After the boys took their naps, we went to Shelbyville to celebrate with the Fowler side of the family. Sadly, cousin Eli broke two bones in his leg less than a week ago so he was laid up in bed most of the time.
Ava and Luke
Cousin Reed
Ava was willing to smile for a picture. After all, Aunt Whitney had just given her a second cookie. Shhh!
Luke loves snuggling with Aunt Erika!
When it came time to open presents, Eli was carried out so he could participate too. Bless his heart- the cast goes from his toes to his upper thigh. :(
Caleb and Evan
Reagan had to try on her fairy costume and roller blades right away.
Luke and Grandmomma Kathy are always silly together.

Christmas Morning
Santa's Handiwork...
My aunt and uncle gave us this fun idea...I was worried about Caleb sneaking out so we made a big deal and "wrapped" his door before bedtime. Christmas morning he called us up to his room so he could run out. He thought it was so much fun, and I slept better knowing his wasn't sneaking downstairs. :)
I love, love, love this picture. I took it just as he caught a glimpse of what Santa left for him and Luke.
Santa brought him the Batcave and the Gothan City Jail.
One happy boy!
Rhett also loved his new, cozy bed!
Since Luke was up so late on Christmas Eve, we let him sleep in. He was so confused as to why we were taking video and pictures of him in bed.
Making his way downstairs...
Santa brought Luke a balance bike and a fire truck.
Notice he still has his blanket...It's called "little blanket," as "big blanket" has to stay in his bed. Don't tell him that his little blanket has "Caleb" monogrammed on it. :)
Reading some of his new books from his stocking.
The boys each got a few gifts from Mommy and Daddy too.
SO happy about his Switch and Go Dinos.
Luke is obsessed with his play fruit and seriously spent around an hour cutting the fruit apart and then putting it back together.
Taking a spin on his new bike.

Christmas Eve
Since before I was born, my mom's side of the family has always had the same Christmas Eve routine- a big, extended family dinner. Because Granny Sue isn't up for something like that, all of her kids and their spouses had a low key dinner at her house and spent the evening with her. So, we decided to go to the family worship service at church and then go out to eat at our favorite restaurant, Sake Blue. The boys did GREAT during the worship service and Luke made it until the last five minutes.
Ready for church
(Caleb wore that red sweater on Christmas Eve when he was 18 months and I had planned on Luke wearing the matching black pants, but they fell off of him! While I think of him as "big," he's our little guy!)
At dinner
I snapped this picture just as the chef made the big flame. Luke wasn't sure about it but loved the rest of the "show!"
Caleb was so happy to be at Sake Blue, sitting at the grill. He surprised me by eating his entire salad, and then over half of his rice and steak!
Luke shared with everyone and had so much fun using the chop sticks. I think he ate his weight in fried rice.
We were so glad that Brianna and her family (that's her sister Rachel) came too. You can see where baby Luke ended up...
Our Family
After dinner we celebrated Christmas with Grandpa Kevin's side of the family.
Luke was NOT happy that Caleb was playing with his new toy.
Luke and the girls- Reese, Morgan, and Hailey
Caleb loved playing with Braedon's new Batman toy.
Luke and Gwen
We got home entirely too late but the boys were troopers and were happy as could be all night. Even though we rushed our normal bedtime routine, we didn't forget to put this out...
