So Blessed...

...to have such wonderful friends!!!

Today while I was at work and Creed went to Lexington to visit
with his Dad, Nikki watched Caleb. She says he was great, no
crying or fussing, and even took great naps. I checked my
email at lunch today and Nikki had sent me some pictures of
Caleb & Madalyn playing. Thanks again, Nikki!



One thing about Nikki if you don't know her...she is very
thoughtful. Case in point- She didn't want Caleb to have
to push a girl baby doll in a pink stroller. So, she made
sure he got to push a boy baby doll!


I'm sure they won't ever be up to any trouble together...

Unattended

While Creed and I got ready for church Sunday morning, Caleb
was content pushing his musical table around our room. We
were in the bathroom, so he was slightly unattended, but I did
continue to peek at him. This is what I found...

Catching Up

Since our friends Jon & Lucy moved to Oregon, we've only seen
them once. We were so excited to be able to hang out with Jon
(we missed you Lucy!) Sunday evening at his parent's house.
The weather (was again!) perfect, so we spent the majority of
the time on their back deck. Mrs. Lloyd brought out of some of
Jon's old blocks, so Caleb and Madalyn were happy knocking
down towers.

How sweet was this?!!! After Mrs. Lloyd set up dinner, she

& Mr. Lloyd scooped up the babies and took them on a

walk so we could eat in peace. How thoughtful!

Figuring It Out

My how things have changed over the last two weeks.
Life is beginning to get a little more crazy, and a lot
more fun!

Dinner with Friends

This past Saturday night we met the Durst family at a great
restaurant on the river, Cunninghams. The last time we were
there was at the end of last summer, and both Caleb &
Madalyn slept most of the time time. Seven months later they
were both sitting up at the table enjoying grilled cheese, green
beans, and french fries! It was a great evening with great
friends and absolutely perfect weather.

My how times have changed...

Hilarious

I took these pictures before we left on vacation, but completely
forgot about posting them- oops! Anyways, Caleb thinks it is
completely hilarious to roll toys on the hardwood floor and then
hit the rug. When they hit the rug, they usually fly up in the air
or crash into each other. He cracks up laughing, with this deep
belly laugh, which is just precious. I tried to catch his expression-
I think it is pretty obvious from the look on his face that he loves
this game!

Miss Ya!

This time last week Caleb and I were getting settled in for our
first night of vacation in Florida with Marshma and Papa.
While today it did get up in the mid 80s here, it just wasn't the
same without Marshma and Papa!


This was taken our last night in Florida after eating at one
of my favorite Florida spots- Sharkey's on the Pier.

We sure miss ya, Marshma & Papa! Thanks again for letting
us come and visit! We had a blast!!!

So good!

Like all babies, Caleb has his moments...but I have to say
that he has been so good while down here! He has kept up
with his normal eating and sleeping routines, which has
made everything much easier. These pictures were taken
last night after dinner. You'll see that he is all smiles...

old! I think he looks so big in this picture.

Can you tell how much Marshma has enjoyed having us

If you are wondering why his hand is blurry, it is because

he is waving it at someone. Before we came down here

Caleb would wave if you were telling him "bye bye." Now

he waves all the time. In fact, at dinner tonight, he waved

at our server each time she came up to the table!

He sure thinks he is a big boy...

Caleb loved playing with his Papa Bruce this week! They
have quickly become best buddies!

(Don't you just love the creative baby proofing! The floor

is tile and Marshma was SO worried that he'd fall and hurt

himself...which explains why there is a comforter on the

floor and pillows all around.)

86 & Sunny!

With the cloudy, rainy, and cool weather that we experienced
last week at home, you can imagine how much Caleb and I
have enjoyed the absolutely beautiful weather here. Today we
took Caleb down to the beach and had a picnic lunch. I think
he is enjoying vacation as much as I am!

Meeting Momo Charlotte

Yesterday was a very special day. Caleb got to meet his
great-great grandmother, Momo Charlotte. (Papa's Mom.)
He loved visiting with her, and she was very impressed
with his large appetite and lengthy naps!

Playing at the Park

Last night after dinner we took Caleb to the park. It is only
one block from Marshma & Papa's condo and has a great
toddler area. We've already been back today, and I'm sure
that won't be Caleb's last visit either!
