I always go back in the blog and look at pictures and stories from the past. I love doing it, and it's one of the reasons that I love having this blog so much. So, I have to write this down so that I can reread this on down the road and laugh...
I was sitting on the floor. Luke was in the Bumbo seat next to me and I kept changing out his toys to keep him happy. Caleb wanted to eat some cantaloupe- something that always ends up being a really sticky mess. To save time and clean up, I opted to simply feed Caleb with the fork. Everything was going fine until I glanced down at Luke. His arms were flailing and he had this strange expression on his face, almost as if he was gagging or choking. Then I saw a hint of orange in his mouth. My heart flipped and my stomach sank. It wasn't until I had retrieved the large chunk of cantaloupe out of Luke's mouth that I realized I fed the wrong kid and my heart rate (slowly) returned to normal. How long had it been in his mouth? I have no idea.

I completely understand how you could do that. It's always a little funny when you wake up from auto-pilot.
