Aren't We Cute?!!

7 Months

It is hard to believe that our baby is 7 months old today!
You hear people say that time flies...I never knew how true
that was until I had a child.

I remember thinking when he was only a few weeks old
that I couldn't wait until he slept through the night. When that
milestone occurred, I thought about how fun it would be when
he started laughing and playing. I then looked forward to
the day that he would be able to sit up. Am I counting down
the days until he can crawl and walk...not just yet. I realized
that I've got to cherish all of the stages, even when the next
seems "so much more fun."

I truly adore the stage that Caleb is in right now. His big
personality is so evident. I love his morning smiles, the way
he buries his face in my shoulder when he is sleepy, and how
his two favorite things are jumping and eating. (Maybe he'll
just skip that walking stage and go straight to hopping.) He
only likes 2 books (Mirror Me & Baby's Belly Button) and
wouldn't mind hearing them over and over. Caleb prefers
sweet potatoes, applesauce, and of course, Mum Mums.
He loves Wheel of Fortune and adores his Uncle Luke. If I
could stop time and freeze these moments with Caleb, I would!

Caleb is currently going through a music phase. He LOVES
to play with all of his instruments. Maybe he will actually have
some musical talent, although I'm not sure who he'd get that
from. :)

Two cousins in the tub!

Caleb loves playing with Cousin Ava and is SO happy
that she came to visit!

Baby Reagan!!!

We are so excited to announce that Caleb has another
cousin, Reagan Lynn Wilson. Born on Saturday,
Reagan weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 20 in.
long. She is absolutely precious and both mommy & baby
are doing well!

What a bummer!

Caleb was all decked out in his UK gear for tonight's game
against Louisville. He cheered hard, but unfortunately it
didn't turn out as we would have liked.

First Overnight

While Mommy & Daddy went to Cincinnati for the night,
Caleb got to stay at his GrandMom's house. I asked my
Mom to take some pictures of Caleb playing so I could
see what he did.

played in his Exersaucer,

did a little blogging,

talked on the phone,

studied the Bible,

played Guitar Hero,

took lessons from Uncle Luke,

wore a crazy hat,


had the job of waking up Uncle Luke,

and, took Uncle Luke to basketball practice.

It seems as though Caleb didn't miss his Mommy &

Daddy too much! I'd say he had a great time, judging

by the pictures.

Mom, Kevin, Paige, and Luke- Thanks SO, SO much

for keeping Caleb for us. We knew he was in good

hands and we didn't worry.
