October

 PeePaw & Grandma Beth visited us at the lake, and following Hallie's lead, Lacey got in further than she ever has. 

Since Tilly attends preschool at WA, we got to see her at open house and the fall festival.

This summer felt a little off, and I think it had to do with the weather. So many weekends were overcast and dreary, and some we just got rained out. Still, we are thankful for 6 months of boating in 2023. One last ride before we winterize the boat...

It is only fitting that the day we got the boat out of the water is the same day we put up the lake Christmas tree.

Halloween with Tilly! While Luke went home from school with a friend and Trick or Treated with him, Caleb was a good sport and walked with Tilly, I mean Minnie Mouse.

I did get this update on Luke's night...SO MUCH candy.

September

Luke and some of his friends had an all out water gun war on the kayaks one afternoon.

Caleb started his firsts job at Chick Fila! Since he is only 15, his hours are limited during the school week, but so far he is doing great. He looks the free meal at the end of his shift and saying, "My pleasure" is becoming second nature for him.

We spent a weekend in Nashville at the Opryland Hotel and the boys loved exploring the hotel and had fun at the water park. We also took them to Broadway one afternoon since it was their first trip to Nashville.

August

 It was so fun to watch Luke surfing the first wave and Caleb surfing the second on the wake foil at the same time.

Headed to Marina Rowena for dinner on our last summer Sunday night.

And just like that, summer break came to an end! 

7th Grade

10th Grade

They both had a good first day, although Luke commented that "it's going to be a long year."

Luke spent the night with his buddy, Mason, and they went to ride go-carts and play mini-golf.

Lacey is spoiled rotten, and we don't mind a bit.

Caleb was hired to DJ on a birthday houseboat dinner cruise, and while the driver ate, he took a turn at the helm. 

Grandmom and Grandpa took the boys to the park to view the blue supermoon.

Creed's family spent a weekend with us and the kids had a great time!

Luke brought his buddy, Mason, to the lake for a long weekend.

Caleb spent the day with his buddies riding jet skis, but I did manage to get one picture of him.
