July

We kicked off the holiday weekend with fireworks over the harbor. We watched from the front row at the marina and had an awesome view.

Caleb's drone captured the best shots, though!

Ready for a festive day on the lake!

That evening we came up to the town square and Craig Morgan sang on the courthouse steps. We love small town living!

The next week PeePaw came for a visit!

Lacey's ears crack me up!

We know we are biased... but
BEST.DOG.EVER!

On July 14th, we hooked "our" boat up to someone else's truck and tearfully said goodbye. It was so bittersweet- ALL the memories- but it went to the best family that live up in Indy and we are excited for them to love it like we did.

Two days later, we left Lake Cumberland Marine with our dream boat!

We got a Super Air Nautique g23 and couldn't be happier. It has exceeded our expectations and each time we are on it, we find more things to love about it!

And that afternoon, we were on the water. Caleb's friend Greyson spent the weekend with us since his parents couldn't come to the lake and it was helpful having another boater with us while we figured everything out.

Nothing beats a Friday night sunset tie up!

June

June was a fun month, with lots of traveling, celebrations, and lake time!

Creed and I spent four days in Nashville for CMA Fest with Chevrolet and had an incredible time. We had a private concert at the Grand Ole Opry, saw all the Nashville sights, and ended the trip with an awesome concert at Nissan Stadium.

Darius Rucker

Trace Adkins

Russell Dickerson

Ashley McBryde

Friday night at Nissan Stadium was Darius Rucker, Jason Aldean, Zac Brown Band, and Keith Urban.

Keri and Doug, friends from the lake, happened to be at CMA Fest too, so we had a blast hanging with them that week!

After CMA Fest, we headed to the lake and celebrated Creed's 40th birthday on our friend's houseboat. Then we headed to West Virginia to take Caleb white water rafting for his 14th birthday. Peepaw and Grandma Beth met us there, so it was a fun time.

14 years old on June 14th

Luke wasn't old enough to go white water rafting, so we spent the day at their adventure park. It was exhausting, but so much fun.

Luke got to go striper fishing with his buddy, Cooper, and did great.

After getting up at 4am, he did need a little nap on the boat before getting back at it.

Caleb and his friends Greyson and Drew might not live in the same cities, but they spend the weekends together and have had the best summer.

Caroline might be the only girl in the lake friend group, but she has no problem keeping up with the boys.

Caleb taught a bunch of his lake friends to surf this summer.

Lacey had her first (and probably last) full lake day. She did great, but the amount of hair she left in the boat was just indescribable.

The low point of her day (Even worse than having to swim to shore to go potty!) was getting caught in a storm. For a dog that hates water, this was a nightmare for her.

At the end of the month we decided to list the boat for sale so Caleb got some great pictures of it with his drone.
