June

The first half of June was so good to us.
The weather pattern (sunny, clear skies, and HOT temps) was perfection for long lake days.

The weather also meant perfect afternoons at the pool.

Because we have a slip at Jamestown Marina, we get to use their pool too, which is a bonus for the days when Creed goes back to Louisville for work.

With PeePaw, Grandma Beth, Marshma, and Papa as an audience, Luke got up (and stayed up) on skis for the first time. He was so proud!

We celebrated Creed's birthday

and had so much fun on the lake with them.

While Uncle Luke and Aunt Briana went on a cruise, we got to puppy sit for sweet Nora. The boys loved having a puppy...I, on the other hand, was reminded what it is like to have a toddler in our house. (No, we will not be getting a dog anytime soon.)

On June 14th, our first born turned TEN. (How that happened, I will never know!) He was shocked when the shoe box he opened contained the iPod he wanted.

This year Caleb wanted a gaming birthday party at home... We had a great afternoon celebrating our big kid.

I love the pool, but sadly, this will be our last summer with a membership since we have only been four times... we are just always at the lake!

Our sliding glass door was finally installed and I love, LOVE it!

Creed's mom kept the boys while we went to a party on State Dock one night. We ended the evening with a little green light fishing off their houseboat.

On the 21st, we let the boys each bring a friend to the lake.

Luke and his buddy Tey spent the evening chasing lightning bugs

and watching a movie.

Caleb and his friend Max took turns playing Fortnite.

Even though it was a cloudy morning, all four boys were all smiles.

It rained around lunch time so we pulled in a covered, but empty, houseboat slip and had lunch.

They swam, explored the shoreline, and tubed all afternoon. It was a great trip!

Luke searched Ebay for days before finally decided to purchase this chrome mini-figure. He loves it.

We were at the park for 10 minutes and then the skies opened up. The second half of June brought with it more clouds and rain.

Luke left his mark on the rocky shore...can you spot his name?!

One afternoon we were visiting Uncle Mark on his houseboat and he pulled out a junior wakeboard for us to borrow.
Both Luke...

and Caleb got right up!

Caleb loves wakeboarding and says he won't ever ski on two skis again...happens to us all. ;)

We added Sorry! to our collection of board games at the cabin.

Little brother ordered a new life jacket since he is getting so big.

Luke has been really, really good this summer and asked if he could go to Build-A-Bear. We don't know how much longer we've got him loving stuffed animals so we said yes. ;) He was thrilled and said it was his lucky day when he got not one, but two, since they were on sale.

Graeters for the win!

We LOVED Incredibles 2!!!!
