We hope you all had a fun, sugar-filled day!
We kept Caleb home from school today since he isn't great at doing things with one hand yet so the boys and I relaxed, played games, and picked up a few "Get Well" toys at Walmart. ;) Caleb is actually doing great! His arm doesn't hurt at this point and he was able to sleep pretty well last night. We are just trying to figure out the logistics- how to get his shirts on, bathing without getting it wet, buckling him safely in his car seat, etc. But, it could always be worse- we are thankful he isn't in any pain and are hoping for good news at orthopedic doctor tomorrow!
Luke loved Halloween and figured out the "trick or treat" thing really quick. I think he threw 2,000 screaming fits this evening- all candy related. ;) He was like Pavlov's dog... every time the door bell rang he started going crazy because it meant I would reach into the giant candy bowl. And, when the candy went to the dragon, or the vampire, or even the princess at the door, he got really, really mad. But don't feel sorry for him. He seriously ate a sucker, M & Ms, Skittles, yogurt covered raisins (Great idea, Grandmom!), and jelly beans.
Luke sported a skeleton outfit today and looked pretty cute, if I don't say so myself.
Caleb had me playing Candy Land BEFORE 8am this morning.
(Can you tell I am feeling guilty about the whole I was video taping you on the monkey bars so I feel like it's my fault you fell thing? Yes, I have the whole thing on video.)
One handed Legos
And, Luke also sported skeleton pjs tonight!
Happy Halloween!
