Cushion

As I've mentioned in previous posts, Caleb loves to play
with his musical table. In fact, I don't think he has ever gotten
tired of playing with it. We usually get tired of him playing
with it. (Because he doesn't quite understand that if he lets
go he will fall, someone always has to sit behind him to catch
him.) The other day I had laundry to fold, dishes to put away,...
the list went on and on. At the time Caleb was so happy
playing at his table that I didn't want to bother him.

So...I got creative.

While he still fell a few times, the pillows provided a nice
cushion, so there weren't any tears!

Doesn't he look like such a big boy?!!!

A Special Day

Today is a very special day...Two of Caleb's grandmothers
celebrate their birthdays today!

Happy Birthday, Granny Sue!
This evening we went over to Granny Sue's house to
celebrate her 90th birthday! Caleb is so blessed to have
such a large family and to know his great-great
grandmother!

Telling Granny "Happy Birthday!"

Jumping for his great uncle Jim

Hmmm...Cousin Nikki...Your finger tastes a lot like
Granny's sweet tea!

Not quite 90 candles...

Happy Birthday, Marshma!
Caleb's great grandmother Marshma also celebrates
a birthday today. We didn't get to celebrate with her
because she is in Florida (I don't know why...it's not
like it is going to be 5 degrees tonight or anything!)
Caleb loves his Marshma very much and misses her
soooo much! He can't wait until she comes back!!!

Caleb's Curves

Caleb loves bathtime and always gets excited when
he hears the water running. Lately I've let him stand by
the tub and watch as the water fills his tub. He always
gets so excited.

You'll notice from these two pictures that Caleb has
been putting on some weight. I took him to the doctor
last week and he was 18 pounds, 15 ounces. His belly
is so cute and round, which you can tell from the
pictures.

Now thats what I call curves!

SO thankful...

...that Uncle Matt lives in an apartment and not his fraternity
house!

...that the tree didn't fall on Grandmom & Grandpa Kevin's
house!

Cooking with Daddy

Last week I found Creed and Caleb making guacamole-
yummy! Creed makes the best guacamole, so hopefully
Caleb was taking notes. (It appears as though he was
more interested in the measuring spoons.)

I REALLY love...

my musical table!

my jumper! (Yes, still a favorite.)

I AM...

CAPTAIN ADORABLE!
(Thanks Jessica & Jim for such an adorable shirt!)

This is GREAT!

That is what Caleb has to say about all these snow days.

Since my Mom & Kevin lost power, (Actually they have
what is called a "brown out." They only have a limited
amount of power, which is going to the fridge & furnace-
not the tvs, playstation, etc.) Paige & Luke have been
staying with us. Caleb loves having his aunt & uncle
around to meet his every need, at the exact moment that
he "needs" it.

Ice Ice Baby

After yesterday's snow storm, Kentucky was hit with
ice and then another round of snow. We are so
fortunate to have our power (and cable!)- it only went
out for about 30 minutes last night, but the constant
sound of trees splitting and branches falling is a
reminder that we are not out of the woods yet.
Because of the number of power outages, JCPS has
cancelled school for the rest of the week, so we will
have two more snow days, or should I say "ice" days!

Taking it all in
