4th of July Week

The week of July 4th is always our favorite week of the year and this year the perfect weather was just icing on the cake. We spent the week boating, surfing, swimming, laughing, and just enjoying time with family and friends.

Caleb spent a lot of time learning to drive Grandma Beth's pontoon boat. He is becoming quite the knowledgeable boater and a big help to have around.

We celebrated Marshma and Papa's 60th wedding anniversary with a luau themed party.

Silly boy

Caleb really started making some serious progress on the surf board.

Lake days are simply the BEST days. :)

June

We spent the first weekend of June in Northern Kentucky for our cousin Garrett's wedding.

We are so happy for Garrett and Meghan and were thankful to be a part of their special day.

The boys and I got Somersplash season passes and we were SO excited to go for the first time.

We laked HARD and some nights Luke simply couldn't make it back to the cabin.

We celebrated both Caleb and Creed's birthdays with family

It rained so much in June that the water fall in Lily Creek was so small!

Night fishing on our friend's houseboat is always fun, especially when the fish are biting!

Mid-June went sent Caleb off to camp with his buddy Max.

While Caleb was away, little got all the attention and even scored a new Pokemon binder.

We also let him bring his friend Jack to the lake with us for a few days.

This kid is made for camp. :) He was all smiles when I picked him up.

Playground shenanigans

While the majority of June was spent at Lake Cumberland, the day or two a week that we were home was full of Lego play. This guy was so proud of the Star Wars scene he made.

May

Sweet 2nd graders on their Belle of Louisville field trip.

While running errands, Caleb talked me into letting him check out a Best Buy. He loved just looking at all the gaming items...he spent a good 30 minutes in this aisle.

Beautiful Lake Cumberland

It is hard to believe that Caleb finished up his elementary school career! We are so thankful for his school, all the awesome teachers he has had, and his incredible group of friends.

Luke and Tey had a sleepover...

Having PeePaw visit is always a treat. This year Luke decided he wanted to be included on the fishing trip.

The LAST day of school!!!

Luke loves Harry Potter and so we updated his bed...

We hit the jackpot with the best Memorial Day weekend weather in years...the official start to our summer.
