Visiting the Greensboro Science Center

Thursday we took the boys to the Greensboro Science Center. We were shocked with all of the different things it had to offer- everything from a toddler play area, to a petting zoo and an aquarium.

Experiencing tornado speed winds. (Luke was not a fan!)

This boy LOVES animals!

The 93 year old snapping turtle was pretty amazing.

Luke was the only one willing to touch the snake.

Day 2 at the Farm

The boys spent most of yesterday at the hunting farm and had a blast!

There were 4 wheeler rides,

Happy Meals by the pond,

lots of fun in the deer stand,

bullfrogs,

and some fishing.
And while the boys went shopping, the girls spent a few hours at the mall. It was the perfect day all around.

Spring Break Begins!

We started off our spring break today with a bang, but that's after spending 8 hours in the car driving to PeePaw and Grandma Beth's house yesterday

Thankfully, the drive was very uneventful and the boys did fantastic. There wasn't a single whine, complaint, or fuss to he heard! Seriously, I was nervous about driving with them alone (Creed stayed home and is working all week) for such a long distance but am so proud of their behavior. We were even able to stop in Charleston, WV, to visit with Creed's family.

The highlight of the trip was having to stop near the West Virginia/Virginia state line for this...
(He said he couldn't wait and that he "wheely wheely" had to go! I am just glad that we had the frog potty with us.)

We were so happy when we finally made it to Winston-Salem to see PeePaw and Grandma Beth...AND Marshma and Papa. They were on their way home from Florida and drove here instead. There were lots of hug and kisses to go around. :)

Today we hit the ground running! Our first stop:  Krispy Kreme!

(oh, this look...)

Then it was on to the Children's Museum of Winston-Salem. Caleb loved climbing Jack's Beanstalk up to the second floor.

Making donuts was a big hit, too.

Luke took his cashier job at the Food Lion very seriously. ;)

While Luke was playing veterinarian, Caleb informed us that he was actually the "mad scientist" and did some experiments on the animals.

Outside was the coolest exhibit... a hand-crocheted climbing "thing" from Japan.

It was incredible and the boys loved making it all the way to the top.

After lunch we stopped by a nearby park and the boys wore themselves out!
