Celebrating Nana's 90th Birthday

On October 6, we celebrated Nana's 90th birthday with a wonderful dinner at Marshma and Papa's house.

 My sweet friend, Nikki, made a beautiful banner for the evening. Thanks, Nikki!!

Somehow Marshma found orange and yellow tulips...in October.

The cake was almost too beautiful to eat!

Beth had a bunch of pictures put on a digital frame for a gift and Caleb was quick to hop up in Nana's lap to watch them all.

Our little sweet-toothed toddler devoured his piece (or pieces!) of cake.

Nana is blessed with four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren (We sure missed the "big" boys- Matt, Drew, Nathan & Garrett that evening.), two great-great grandsons, and a third great-great grandson on the way. 

One word: Blessed!

Fun at Gallrein Farms

Last Friday we went to Gallrein Farms with PeePaw (he came in town for the boys' fall break) and had a blast. The weather was so beautiful and the boys loved all there was to do there.

I think they would have stayed at the petting zoo all day!

Apple cider donuts and mango slushies were the perfect snack. 

The giant hay pyramid

Luke hated the hay pit, but Caleb loved jumping in. 

We didn't want to wait for the hayride to the pumpkin patch so we grabbed a little wagon and took off. It was so much fun, although it did get a little hot out there. 

Luke found his keeper and was done. He wondered back to the wagon and waited for us to finish up.

Done.

Ben's Superhero Party

My little superheroes had a blast celebrating Ben's 4th birthday and they loved their capes that Ms. Alaina made for them!

Gaslight Parade

A few weeks ago we braved downtown J-Town for all the traffic madness that is the Gaslight Parade. I have vivid memories of the parade from when I was a child, and I love taking the boys each year. Creed and Caleb were not actually in the parade this year (remember this?!!) so they got to enjoy it from the sidelines too.  We were so excited when our friends, the Whitworths, decided to meet us down there as well. 

Dinner at the parade is always hot dogs and chips from J-Town Baptist Church's adoption ministry. 

Luke, Caleb, and Jackson sat on the curb- prime seats for candy catching.

Stuffing his pockets FULL of candy was this kid's favorite part.

Dance party! 

Looks like Caleb and Jackson have some of the same moves. ;)

Showering Leah

Last month I hosted a shower at my house for Leah and another baby BOY that will be added to the family toward the end of this month. I just can't wait to get my hands on this little one!
