Puzzles Fundome

Before we took PeePaw to the airport a few weeks ago, we
went to Puzzles Fundome for a little...fun! I think we ALL had
lots of fun jumping in the bouncies, sliding down the slides,
and I know I loved crawling through the tunnels to locate my
lost toddler and help him find the slide. :)

You can almost see his thought process...Do I jump?

PeePaw was such a sport!

This is the maze of tunnels Caleb got lost in. He didn't
freak out or anything, I could just hear him saying "slide"
over and over again.

Happy Mother's Day

I have had an absolutely wonderful Mother's Day weekend
(yes, weekend...just like my "birthday week!") After church
the whole family met over at Granny Sue's to celebrate with
her. Caleb just wanted to play "side" (outside) so trying to
eat was a little hectic. (Actually, it was more hectic on Luke
and Grandmom, since they were the ones taking him out!)

Holding hands with Caroline.

This is Caleb's FAVORITE thing. Granny Sue's ramp in her
garage. He goes up and down, over and over and over
again. Today he took Caroline along with him.

With Granny Sue

It's a little dark, but we are all there. Five generations.

Caleb has started calling me "Mommy" every now and again,
which sounds precious. No matter what he calls me, I'll come!

Dear Mom,
You are NUMBER ONE. Enough said.
Love you, Whitney
***
Dear Beth,
You are THE BEST "wicked stepmother" a girl could ever ask
for! Love and miss you, Whitney
***
Dear Grandma & Marshma,
Wouldn't be where I am today without you. Thank you from the
bottom of my heart for everything you've done to help with
Caleb. Love you, Whitney

Yellow Icing

Only the World's Greatest Mom would have let her (almost)
two year old make such a mess, and would have been able
to clean it up in under 4 paper towels! :)

Our Zoo Trip

Saturday morning Caleb and I headed out to the zoo- just the two
of us. This was the first time that we've gone alone, and I have to
say that it was so much fun just being with him. He set the pace,
and I didn't feel like we needed to see everything. Caleb was
interested in the monkeys (orangutans, gorillas, etc.,) ducks,
and the playground. It was such a nice way to start Mother's Day
weekend!

Good Times

PeePaw came in town for Derby weekend, and he and Caleb sure
had some good times. You'll have to turn your head sideways (I have
seriously no idea why they won't post vertical!) but this is PeePaw
and Caleb doing "bump ball." This is a game that I remember
playing with my Dad when I was little, and I'm sure my brothers
would say the same. Caleb had so much fun, and I think PeePaw
did too.

Caleb stands on PeePaw's hands...

...then PeePaw throws him up in the air and catches him.
Caleb's expression says it all!

Thanks for making the trip to visit, Dad! We love and miss
you!

Caleb & Aunt "Nay Na"

Caleb loves his Aunt Dana. Seriously adores her. On Derby
day Dana spent the day at our house, and you would have
thought that Caleb was in Heaven. It's obvious that Dana
enjoys it as well. She even spoiled him by bringing cookies,
new Matchbox cars, and a coloring book!

Caleb made sure Dana kissed his (2 week old and almost
completely healed!) boo boo.

Caleb calls cookies "ahguh." (That's the best that I can
sound it out.) Anyways, he loved the ones Dana brought.

Smiling at Dana...

More smiles for Dana...

Watching the Derby with Dana!

Sugar and Spice

Last Thursday Caleb took Sugar and Spice donuts over to
his friends Madalyn and Hayden's house for breakfast. The
Schulz family was there too, so it was a fun morning with
friends! And let me tell you that the quickest way to Madalyn's
heart is a donut covered with princess (pink & purple) sprinkles!

Message for Uncle Matt

Happy Birthday, Uncle Matt! We love and miss you!

Good luck on finals!!

Aunt Paige

Last week we went to visit Aunt Paige at school and celebrate
her birthday with her. She decided that she wanted us to have
a picnic at her favorite study spot- the lake. Green River Lake
is like less than a 5 minute drive from her dorm, so she and her
friends like to come there to study. And let me say that studying
lakeside is way better than the William T Young library!!!

Happy Birthday, Aunt Paige!

Caleb sharing one of his rare kisses.

Throwing rocks.

Thanks for letting us come and visit with you! You better put
your study spot to good use and ace your finals this week!
Good luck!! We love you and can't wait to have you home
for the summer!
