Checking it out

Caleb spent time this weekend checking out his new water
and sand table that he got from his PeePaw & Grandma
Beth. These pictures are from the first time he saw it...he
was a little timid and unsure of what to do. But, by that
afternoon, he was loving it!

You can see his little mind working..."I wonder what this

is???"

He figured out quickly that he could dump the water on

the deck.

Happy 1st Birthday!!

Today we celebrated Caleb 1st birthday with a cookout
and cake. It was great all being together to celebrate such
a special little boy!

Time for presents!!!

Caleb was born on flag day. This flag was his great-great-
grandfather's from WWII. Something so special that he'll
have forever.

It's been a year...(almost)

Can you believe Caleb turns 1 tomorrow?!! Time sure flies...

Picky Eater?

Nope! Just a messy one! Caleb loves all things Italian,
especially lasagna. Tonight's menu also included fresh
cantaloupe- Caleb's favorite.

On to dessert! After all, it is his birthday week!

Q-Tips

I try to always keep our bathroom door shut, (Remember
the flushing of the toilet??) but apparently it was left open.
This is the damage Caleb can do in a split second!

There are no words

The other night Caleb got to play on his friend Madalyn's
new swing set. There are no words to describe how much
Caleb loved going down the slide. He is fearless, and
couldn't get enough!

Happy. Joyful. Blissful. Ecstatic. Delighted. Cloud Nine.

I still don't think any of these words can describe the time

he had!

Gotcha Caroline!

What an exciting day! Today we celebrate "Gotcha Day,"
as Caleb's new cousin Caroline was handed to the
awaiting arms of her very proud parents. After a long four
year journey, Caroline is now a part of the family.

I'm sure Zach and Kyle will be wrapped around her little

fingers in no time!

Fire Truck!

While Caleb and I were out this afternoon on a walk, we
were so excited to see a fire truck collecting for the Crusade
for Children come into our neighborhood. He loved listening
to the horn, and the nice fireman let Caleb sit in the front
seat! (Yes, when I saw the truck I ran home and got my
camera!)

Checking things out

An Alternative

You may have noticed that Caleb has had his fair share of
sweet treats lately. From ice cream to popsicles, he has
enjoyed a little, or should I say a lot, more sugar than he
normally does. Since it was getting a little expensive to
meet his sweet tooth's needs (Graeters, Real Fruit Bars,
etc.) I decided to try some homemade treats. I mixed
Gerber's apple juice and water, then filled those popsicle
molds...viola! A better, and less sugar, alternative.
