October weeks were spent looking forward to weekends at the cabin. Thankfully the first half of the month was filled with sunny and warm days and we spent as much time outside as we could.
Lacey's spot on the couch is her happy place. She spends hours keeping an eye on things and looking for squirrels.
Luke was thrilled to find this little guy slithering across our driveway.
We've gotten into a pretty good routine with Lacey that includes quite a few quick walks around the circle in our neighborhood. She always finds something to get into along the way...
A boy and his dog. :)
She can do lots of ear tricks, but this one when she is listening to birds is my favorite.
Luke was invited to Boo at the Zoo with his buddy Tey. After we found out Tey and his siblings were dressing as Incredibles characters, we knew Luke needed to take part. He was the perfect villain, Syndrome!
We purchased a Blackstone this fall and now all of our cabin meals are made on it. From omelets and smash-burgers to blackened fish and steaks! It is so much fun and seriously the best food!
The boys decided they wanted to skip trick or treating and spend Halloween at the cabin this year. They ate plenty of candy and were happy to have a popcorn and movie night in their loft.
Caleb and Grandpa also got to spend the afternoon kayaking around Lily Creek.
