Happy Halloween

To celebrate Halloween, we decided to take Caleb to
the Fall Festival at church dressed in his lobster costume.
Unfortunately, he decided that he would rather be a crab-
that is he was VERY crabby. The following two pictures
are the only pictures I have of him in his costume tonight,
and you can see from his expression that he wasn't
amused.

While he may not have enjoyed wearing his costume
tonight, he has enjoyed all of his festive clothes. He
especially loved his "Baby's First Boo" pjs- thanks
Laura!

As you can imagine, I've had him in this shirt all
week- thanks Sikura family! (Luckily I do laundry
daily to keep him in fresh bibs, so it wasn't a problem
to keep washing the shirt.)

A Little Creed & Erika

Before returning to Florida, Erika and Ava spent some
time with us, which we LOVED! Ava and Caleb are
interacting with each other more and more.

I had to laugh when I looked at the pictures- Caleb looks
like his daddy and Ava looks like her mommy. The
pictures definitely show a little Creed and a little Erika.

Come back and visit us again SOON!!!

Trick or Treat

For those of you that we won't be able to visit
on Halloween, we wanted to introduce you to
our little lobster...

Our favorite!

Thanks Matt for capturing such amazing
shots of Caleb!

Pretty in Pink

Caleb is a strong believer that real men wear pink.
(And, take baths in pink tubs!)

Saturday night we had dinner and hung out with the
Durst family. Since we were there way past Caleb's
bedtime, he took his bath at their house and I put him
to sleep there. He didn't mind the pink tub or pink towel.
Thanks for sharing, Madalyn!

Yummy! Yummy!

Caleb is finally getting used to eating his solid foods.
The rice cereal didn't agree with his tummy very well,
so we've been giving him oatmeal. The oatmeal tastes
much better- actually just like oatmeal. Today we
decided to give sweet potatoes a try. I was sure he
would spit it out, make a funny face, etc. so we had
the camera ready...Nothing. He basically ate it as if
it is something he has done every day. The pictures
are still cute, though.

Stage Fright

Caleb has been rolling over for a while and I've tried
desperately to catch it on video. But, apparently he has
stage fright because when he sees that video camera,
he immediately begins to cry.

However, I was able to catch him rolling over on my
camera today!

Yeah, Caleb!

4 Months Already!

It is hard to believe that Caleb is already over 4 months
old! At his check up, he weighed 14 pounds, 12 ounces
and was 26 inches long. That puts him in the 50th
percentile for weight and 90th percentile for length! The
doctor said that he is healthy and even commented,
"Boy, you sure are bendy!" as Caleb sucked his toes.

A Perfect Fall Weekend

This past Friday evening, we headed down to Dale
Hollow Lake in Tennessee to meet PeePaw, Grandma
Beth, and Uncle Drew for a mini-vacation. We had a
wonderful time- the big boys spent a lot of time fishing,
while Beth & I hung out with Caleb. We went on walks,
played on the playground and enjoyed the cool weather.
It was a perfect fall weekend.

Caleb's favorite place- outside!

Matching camo

While Caleb did great this weekend, he did get
slightly outside of his normal routine and schedule.
(He didn't get the whole "Central Time Zone" thing.)
Both nights he ended up snuggling with Mommy
& Daddy in bed, and many naps were spent in
someone's arms.

The Exersaucer had to make the trip

Dad, Beth, & Drew- Thank you so much for
making the 8 hour trip (both ways!) just to
spend the weekend with us. We had a great
time and can't wait to see you again soon! We
love you!

Too cute!

On Friday afternoon, we met Kathy, Erika, & Ava at
UK hospital to visit Creed's dad. While they visited
with Joe, I stayed in the waiting room and entertained
Caleb & Ava. They were too cute together!

They were approaching the maximum weight limit
the stroller could handle.

Ava trying to fix Caleb's hair- something I battle with
daily.

Notice the position of their feet- no wonder
people kept asking if they were twins! (Yes-
numerous people asked if they were twins...
Caleb must have been starved.)

hmmm...this is weird

Caleb got his first taste of rice cereal this morning.
He actually did better than I thought he would. But, it
was obvious that he thought it was weird! At first, all
he would do was let the cereal run down his chin. As
time went on, he got a little better at knowing what to
do with it.
